The user interface is super simple and very intuitive. It really doesn't get much simple to use than this. Plus they have preview layouts in your account when you initially login. So you can see what it looks like exactly once you have a bit of action taken with your e-learning courses. In addition, this company provides excellent award winning support. You can submit a support ticket online and usually receive a response in about half an hour during business hours. There is a active community for this software so you can also be empowered through this channel if you need it as there are over one hundred thousand members. There are a lot of articles available and a knowledge base as well which has over ten thousand pages! There's a lot of interactive possibilities for your courses using this tool. Content can become very dynamic and personalized both key features which would help with learning. It's story based so you can connect learners to engaging activities which require decision making by using any object. The development and editing possible in your e-learning requires no coding and is really easy to do. Then you can publish your courses to Android and iPhone or any other device. When creating your course you can utilize three types of editing which make your story dynamic like states, triggers and layers which are very logical once you're familiar which takes very little time to learn. The tool itself is quite a lot like Microsoft Powerpoint so anyone having used it will feel comfortable very quickly. The features are very robust and incredibly simple to use. It's awesome. There are templates available to help get you started even quicker, but you can create from scratch as well. This software interface reminds me of several other software which I own a license for such as creative tools for building ecovers and logos. These are my favorite software because of the professional design possible as well as the ease of use. The same goes for this one it's instantly a favorite because of the simplicity and the power it has. Workflows would become very efficient with just a day or two. The ability to produce professional courses quickly would help ensure a great ROI from this product.

This program is over one thousand dollars to purchase a license. While that's understandable as they are targeting organizations such as schools and non-profits but it would be nice to have a individual license because as a fiction writer and screenplay writer I would love to create storyboards with this tool. It doesn't seem there is an ability to reset a course to a default mode with no variables. I can see wanting to retain your content but redesign the effects and this feature would helps save time with this. There also seems to be missing the ability to output a mp4 file which allow courses with no interactive effects to be distributed through video channels online. A preview mode would be cool too so you could check out the course in real time ongoing.

Articulate Storyline is a dream come true for creating courses and presentations. I love the creativity possible using it and the results are truly professional and engaging. I think there is a market for it beyond what they are currently targeting with the high price point but that's just my opinion. With a free trial available it's worth checking out even if you cannot afford it currently. At least you'll know about this awesome option for the future. You're only limited by your imagination.
