Apptivo CRM

This was one of the customer relationship management softwares I had tried during my research into the best for our company. I signed up for the free plan as our start up sales team remains small at this point though upgraded to the premium in order to try all features from inside my account. I like the interactive wizard which leads you through main features in your account when initially logging even though it's brief and to the point it's also a time saver. The user interface is relatively user friendly and you can brand your account to match your business. Apps can be enabled and disabled according to your needs and include a wide range of functionality from task and project management to budgeting and quotes, to a sales pipeline, human resources, product management, supply chains and more. The Google Apps integration is the best feature about this CRM as it's very affordable compared to some of the others I've checked out. And there are native mobile apps available as well.

While testing this CRM I discovered a very useful, in depth review which stated this software was not yet ready for prime time and gave four stars out of ten. And the closer I looked the more I had to agree with the points they made. To summarize it seems to be a case of getting what you pay for. And while I appreciate the free forever plan in itself and the pricing in their paid plans considering the points in this review it doesn't seem to fully mature in terms of development.

The CRM works well with its basic functionality and the price is right for start ups or small businesses. However, I honestly prefer utilizing third party integrations as in my opinion companies which specialize in one core area rather than more than forty are likely to have spent more time dedicated to refining it. Therefore, I would love to see something like Zapier included inside Apptivo but that's just my opinion. And though the review I mentioned above lists several negative aspects which may seem minor on one hand, while I've noticed certain items may have been resolved since it was written, I would find these minor issues frustrating. As a free customer relationship management solution it's hard to complain about such great value and I sincerely appreciate the option. However, I don't see us scaling up with this one.
