Apple Safari

Apple Safari is a stylish, modern browser and seems to run quite fast consistently. There are a lot of tools available in your Safari account which make it valuable beyond the ability to surf the internet for anything you want to know. It's got cool zooming options, grammar and spell check options, a download manager and private browsing available. If you're inclined their are developer tools available to help your customization efforts or to extend it's functionality. I like it's reliability best. I don't recall it ever crashing once in my device over the six or so years I've used it. It's the default browser built into your OSX devices plays nicely with most types of websites so far in my experience. There are some cool features in the browser itself such as the Reader which will present websites in a very user friendly readable way that you can also print from. It's a minimalist browser like you would expect from most Apple products. Apple uses a lot of shortcuts which can really speed up how you use the Safari browser and makes it a lot more efficient if you're interested in the best workflow while using it for your projects. You can also utilize tab functionality which I like while being able to create new tabs and close pages on the fly to create focused learning sessions or niche based research. I save these sessions and re-open them later which makes my life easier and speeds up the whole process of developmental learning which is largely topical or based a particular client. You can also setup your bookmarks to sync across your other Apple devices. All of it adds up to makes it easy to be as productive as possible when using it to browse the world wide web.

As with any browser it's always being updated and there are so many factors beyond it which can effect it's performance like your browser version, which device you're using and which version it is, internet speeds and connectivity, and knowledge of the user affects this too. So it's not a perfect browser and can be slower, or prone to malware, or non-compatible with Flash websites but besides the Flash thing these are not issues associated with just this browser by any means. Regarding Apple devices in general, I have an iPhone and have used safari for years on it. It's always got the job done for me and I've spent a lot of time using it for business on the road. I've used Windows a lot for other reasons and find it to be simpler than it overall. So much so that it can seem extreme in the sense that once you learn a function you think why didn't I think of that. But until it's pointed out to you this is not obvious at times in my experience. In fact, I've stumbled into a lot of new functionality I didn't know was possible using different swipes and more. Plus the fact that their menu functionality is usually always icons and not labels so there is time required to learn this and apply it to your day to day workflow.

If you've never used an Apple device there is a time investment required in order to use it to it's full potential. A lot of the features are hidden in the sense that they are not obvious until you read about it, or stumble upon it by mistake while doing something else on your device. So take the time to learn about how to use your device from a guide whether it's their knowledge base, or searching Youtube for tips and tricks and utilize the documentation that comes with it when you purchase. Overall, the browser is quite simple with a set of valuable tools including in the cost of your browsing device. Like all of their products they are clean and stylish and simple to use with a lot of valuable time saving functionality built in.
