Ambur is accessible through the computer, tablers, and mobile devices. Ambur uses DropBox to store data since it is a cloud based software. Ambur can remain functional during Internet outage. Ambur has the functionality to secure data through backup using DropBox as a free storage provider.

Ambur is priced fairly comparing to other providers and its feature but it's only billed annually under any plan suppressing flexibility. The mobile application available is only for iOS and iPad and they are not yet supporting Android devices. Ambur iPad and iPhone apps are missing the ability to sign for credit card purchase. Some customers complain about the weak inventory and reporting capability on Ambur.

Ambur has modules for Employee management, table layouts, web-based back office as well as multiple location features and more. Ambur now can be integrated with different card processors including TSYS, Elavon, Vantiv, etc. Ambur has a knowledgebase with many helpful posts and questions, the email support is available. Ambur is lacking integration with the third party CRM provider which is an important con, unlike many other competitors.
