Adobe Illustrator CC

Adobe Illustrator is another great creative software from Adobe which is for designing with vectors primarily. It's Adobe so if you're used to any of their software at all you will find this very intuitive to use and learn. It has a very robust feature set and because it's vector based you can enlarge files to be as large as you need without losing quality. Which works the opposite way as Photoshop which uses raster based pixel editing and not mathematics based formulas to alter graphic data. The features while being robust offer you an incredible amount of possibilities to be creative. And there are multiple ways to do some things while keyboard shortcuts are the best way to speed up your workflow. If you're new to Illustrator and Google images for Illustrator keyboard shortcuts you will find some useful images to get you started quickly with them. If you go through each of these when you're brand new to it this will not only help you learn the features but it will you link you directly to the quickest way to do it. Eventually you will decide to switch up your preferences and place the keyboard shortcuts the way you want them which makes it even faster for you. You can learn individual keyboard shortcuts by hovering over the tool or looking in the menu beside the title of what you're looking to do. I love the creative element of Adobe softwares. Once you get to know one it is extremely gratifying to use because of the high level of creativity within you it facilitates. I use Photoshop nine days out of ten to paint and it's so fun. Now that I've taken my Photoshop understanding to an immediate level I am noticing how much is transferred across their software in terms of menu placement and icons which are used. This makes it much easier to learn new products and was curious how much my understanding made Illustrator to use this time around and in fact it is much easier now. I know how to tackle any issue that arises quickly in the sense that I know it's worth taking the time to watch a tutorial video, or learn the shortcut for a tool you use a lot because adding these minor aspects up over time allows you to be at your most creative because it's possible to move between tools and screens as quickly as you can think. So you can get right back to your priority and that is the creativity involved in the project. At least you want that to be your priority and it can become this and it's worth the time invested to get good at Illustrator, Photoshop or anything you're putting your mind to.

I personally like the cloud based version because the low cost per month is practical for my hobby use. Though I can understand the frustration by many not having the more cost effective option to have a yearly license which covers multiple users. There are definitely a different set of features than Photoshop and it would be great to see a few of them available such as the clone tool. It's always possible to open up Photoshop at the same time but a few tweaks could make this process a bit more seamless certainly. If you've never used an Adobe software product in the past there is certainly a learning curve in order to become proficient with any of them. And Illustrator in my opinion is the trickiest of the bunch that I've tried in terms of how to efficiently use the tool set. But in truth, I found Photoshop tricky at one point as well until I starting spending time every day with their learning material and resources along with Google and Youtube searches. I wish it was ten bucks for any of their apps per month. I love this about the Photoshop deal but it's $20 USD per app beyond this and that's about $35 per month to use Illustrator which is bit much for a hobbyist.

The Illustrator software is awesome for what it does. The templates which you can load up at the start of a new project make it nice and quick to get going with any design you will need to have printed. Whether it's a poster, flyer, brochure, Tshirts, business cards, box, label, banner ad or what have you it can be done. Most of these templates are included but you can easily get more for anything you need to have printed either free or paid with a quick search online.
