Adobe Flash Professional

Adobe Flash Pro was a massively popular program for animations on the Internet but is being taken over by HTML5/JS for the most part and is usually found nowadays mainly in games online. It's possible to have mobile apps with Flash as well but it can be quite challenging. You can develop Flash for mobile apps as well as desktop Internet and applications. But unfortunately it's not possible for mobile based Internet which is the main reason it is not the main web animation language used by professionals. Though you can work with HTML/JV in Flash Pro it's not the main component of Flash generally speaking. While Adobe Flash is becoming Adobe Animate CC in the next few months with their next release so this should help with the cross application functionality being more of a focus and priority. I like that you can utilize rich media and create web apps which are quite complex in Flash. The website you can create with it can be really stunning there is no question about it. And that wasn't an issue for a period when mobile Internet was not so prevalent. Though since the beginning of the mobile platform Flash has not been available on regular websites when surfing on your phone. The software itself is very familiar if you have used any other Adobe software in the past such as Photoshop or Illustrator you may find it is much easier to learn the next time around which is great. They associate a lot of the same symbols and functionality from soft are to software including keyboard shortcuts which is great. In fact, I just synchronized my all of my Adobe cloud installs so they have all of the same admin information which is something cool and not previously possible. Flash is pretty cool in that you can use ActionScript3 to get a lot done in a very short amount of time compared to HTML5/JS native softwares. You have incredibly powerful content delivery functionality in your account without having to utilize third parties for anything which is great. And you can create dynamic media and web apps in Flash they are just not going to be operational when someone on your site via mobile browser. One viable option to consider is using the best of Flash Pro and exporting it to your canvas object which is HTML5.

It's going to be challenging to find the world's foremost Flash experts anymore because there is simply not the same use of the software and most of these folks have had to adapt to HTML/JS to find work as this is the common language now across mobile apps and desktops. They are out there but this will likely cost you a serious investment. When it may be more practical and much more cost effective simply to use HTML5/JV which is the new standard and supported across all browsers and operating systems.

Overall, it's too bad that Adobe was never able to work with Apple so Flash would work in their mobile browsers. I like the program and certainly was excited to learn it at one point in time but it is simply not practical to spend the time learning it and becoming proficient with it any longer because of this lacking integration. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to learning what Animate CC brings to the table so to speak. It looks like it will be a great new addition to the Adobe suite of visual based software products am I am going to give it another look when it is released in the near future.
