Adobe Connect

Adobe Connect is useful for giving or hosting presentations online and allows you to connect with people remotely and conveniently from a central dashboard. The ability to meet in person I believe translates into better engagement and greater level of impact far beyond that of text, email or phone call. This software has a good set of integrations possible with third party softwares which extends its functionality greatly and is very scalable and secure as you're using a world class platform and infrastructure by one of the oldest and most successful internet companies. Adobe Connect makes possible what used to be impossible and it's not that long ago this was the case when you think about it. And so it becomes easy to take the powerful and versatile communication for granted in a sense, but the overall productivity, efficiency and cost savings available by using this software is massive compared to the old way you got things done. It's a modular software so there are multiple components available with a lot of customization. You benefit by using it multiple times because you're constantly adding resources and building out the tool. For example you can build out rooms and re-use them. You can re-use content from one presentation in another. And there a lot of tools in your account and with integrations to learn and utilize. Spending time with it and developing a workflow that becomes almost second nature which is possible to do helps you to become very proficient with it. Audiences don't need to download anything to attend or participate in an online meeting. This is an important feature of note because in business time is literally money and the ability to connect on the fly helps you maintain efficiency and increase productivity. The reporting capabilities are cool too for example how you can measure how your content is being engaged in your presentations. I like that Adobe Connect supports a lot of media formats you may need to use with your presentation. And how you can customize your presentation layout too. You can brand the webinar environment along with other design functionality. And also allow attendees to use their tablet or smartphone to attend a meeting which is great. There's a dedicated Adobe Connect mobile app available for all platforms which is another valuable reason to consider it. You may be surprised at the range similar presentation softwares which are not available on one or more major operating system yet.

It would be cool to be able to have multiple presenters share webcams and record audio in meeting breakouts. I've always thought it would be cool to have a brainstorming session in webinar where everyone can use the same rich text editor and take advantage of the collective intelligence available and empower people to add to the list in real time while on a live meeting online. It would be nice to have an mp4 version of your recorded meetings available. And it would be nice to be able to email a pdf perhaps of the presentation to certain participants or your entire audience right from your meeting.

This is a suitable presentation software for any size of business but will suit larger businesses who are very active with their presentations because of the extensibility available, but also because of the customization possible and the ability to re-use rooms and re-purpose content in the sense that this system is designed to grow with you in many ways. So while their may be more user friendly options available or other presentation software which do this one thing well that may suit casual users or completely non-technical first time online meeting software users.
