This was a digital marketing company with a larger presence than most companies in their space. Considering that in their RFP contact form they quickly learn whether you're monthly marketing budget is more than one hundred thousand dollars per month, or not. So I was interested in how they responded to an ecommerce start up with promising enterprise level growth possible. They were listed in the Better Business Bureau which was good to see. And while they were not accredited they had no complaints in the last three years which certainly helped a prospect to trust initially in my opinion. There were a number of case studies available and they were from big companies such as Canon so this lent a lot of credibility to their brand. They also had a strong educational component with their POV section. Their blog was active with a lot of content. There was a ton of great value overall and definitely this was a strong indicator as to their current knowledge in their field. In addition to a lot of awards and certifications available on the site.

I simply don't believe that our path has been successful enough as of yet to work with this company by being asked if my current marketing budget is more or less than one hundred thousand dollars per month. I respect this positioning they have earned but as a small business owner the copy in the form doesn't feel as approachable as I would like but that is just my opinion. I also found it slightly odd that the only call to action or contact link is available in a very small font at the bottom of the page. It's not the most obvious thing to reach out to this company and considering they have capabilities of doing advanced conversion rate optimization I wondered if this was best for their own lead generation purposes, though I could be wrong perhaps it's awesome from every other prospect's point of view.

This was definitely a leading company in terms of transparency, authority, thought leadership, online presence and range of services offered. They mentioned should we be a good fit and that they would be back in touch which was what I was left with to ponder initially. Unfortunately, I didn't hear back from them which was fine their minimum budget was most likely well beyond the scope of our start up. By reaching out to say thanks but no thanks, perhaps I would recall their company down the road but once again that's just my opinion. Regardless, I have no doubt this was a professional company who can help to grow your business successfully if you can afford their services.
