Blue Link ERP | September 1, 2016
Without more context it is a bit difficult to answer the question above. Depending on what other systems you're evaluating Blue Link might be quite different or quite similar. If you're specifically looking at Blue Link compared to other ERP solutions, than there are a couple of things that help to set us apart from the competition. First, we provide advanced functionality typically only found in much larger software solutions, at an affordable price. We have very robust functionality to help meet the needs of specific industries such as lot tracking, landed cost tracking, point of sale, eCommerce integration and pharmaceutical distribution functionality. Second, we do not work with any re-sellers and so our team of developers, consultants and support are all based out of our head office location. This means you get personalised support from a team of people who understand your business and your specific needs. Third, we provide the software either as a cloud-based solution or on-premises so that your business can make the choice that is best for your company and then switch down the road if your business changes. Fourth, our system can be completely customised as we understand that no two businesses are exactly alike. I could go on, but those are the main differentiating factors - you will just have to contact us to learn more! :) (more)

Blue Link ERP is updated once a year, however every couple of weeks small revisions and updates are implemented. The idea is that once there have been enough "micro-project" revisions, then we release a new version. This happens once a year and is something that we schedule with all of our existing customers. As part of Blue Link's maintenance package, customers receive annual upgrades to the software and it also keeps the application under warranty. The cost of the maintenance package is included with monthly hosting fees for the cloud version of the software and billed on a monthly basis with the on-premises version. (more)
