TweetDeck is a cool Twitter posting and tracking tool which makes it easy to use the social network in a way that's very productive. It helps you measure how your published stories by the responses you receive in real time. You can publish tweets to be posted into the future and this scheduling helps save a ton of time. You can also monitor several timelines at once which is a huge feature. I find Twitter to feel somewhat closed in that sense that you aren't actively linked to nearly as many connections in your community directly on your Home page like Facebook. So this enables you to view Twitter in a way that immediately takes on more purpose because of the interrelationships possible to observe between related timelines. Your whole Twitter experience can be customized much more than your regular Twitter profile. The search functionality is strong inside TweetDeck you can search by hashtag, event or topic and filter the results in multiple ways. You can turn on notifications to receive alerts for your campaigns. And mute keyword or particular users to help keep focused and on task. This tool is helpful to identify and connect with fans and advocates of your brand which is a huge benefit considering the free price tag. It allows you to track lists, activity and searches and build collections all from one user friendly dashboard which is relatively straightforward to understand quickly. It's built on world class infrastructure so it's very responsive and fast software. All of the streams in your TweetDeck account are updated in real time which is good so there is no refreshing of the web page required. And you can monitor other people's timelines also for specific keywords so you're in the loop in regards to what's trending in your industry which is a huge plus.

It's hard to find fault in something that is 100% free to use and there is a ton of value included in your account which I appreciate, and the software itself may incur a cost if my suggestions were implemented. Such as complex queries, historical search, archiving, additional social media network posting and team collaboration tools such as internal messaging, task management, calendar functionality, ecommerce integration and more. There are also a lot of analytic possibilities which would add value to this tool. Though once again analytics generally speaking are a paid feature in the business software industry but not always with Google Analytics, Statcounter and Hubspot's Sidekick being exceptions. The account user friendliness is good but the decks themselves can seem a bit overwhelming simply because there is a lot of information happening in real time so it can be a lot to digest and I don't see how to mute or minimize a deck without removing it all together from your list of viewable timelines. Perhaps it's there and it wasn't obvious to me initially.

TweetDeck is awesome for Twitter. I honestly expected a price tag to go with it because there is a lot premium functionality included such as the solid search functionality which enables streamlined brand monitoring across multiple Twitter timelines. I seem to remember a time when TweetDeck had a paid subscription. Perhaps this was before Twitter acquired them though I could be completely mistaken. So to rediscover TweetDeck and have the features which I thought should be possible from your regular Twitter profile now available for free is a huge positive. The multiple timelines possible to monitor within your free account with the ability to pre-schedule Tweets are features are expected to pay for and am pleasantly surprised at how well TweetDeck does this and lot more for free. Highly recommended.
