TIBCO Spotfire

Tibco Spotfire is a business intelligence platform as a service with a free trial available and no credit card required which is nice to see so you can try it out with no hassles quickly. I have been comparing several business intelligence solutions recently and was interested in learning more about Tibco as they have quite a reputation that is overwhelmingly positive. And the mapping capabilities are certainly robust and help you in so many ways from understanding your business processes. Another strong feature is the education you get in your help guide. It's the most basic yet thorough I have seen out of the half dozen at least which I have covered so far recently and I appreciate that. I have a huge passion for learning and know when to draw the line in terms of when to get expert help to increase speed market. Sort of. As I write this I am realizing that this love of learning is a gift and a also not so much. Simply because as a small business owner it is the creativity in learning that is who I am and this doesn't always help your speed to market even if you can do a lot of interesting things to help your business yourself. And I find Tibco Spotfire has me want to take the next level in my understanding because their documentation allows you to learn a very good basic summary as a whole quite quickly. And when you can take away from the whole understanding even at it's most basic using logical deduction rather than the induction it takes anyone to get there. If you can get your head around a relatively complex subject relatively fast like this solution helps you to do this is when your creativity allows you to make connections and learn how to leverage the automation in the most healthy, optimal, streamlined way to grow. And I like that about this system a lot.

The price is certainly neither the most expensive nor the least in my journey to discover the best BI solution to suit us. I am learning there is a vast range of them available on the market including Microsoft Power BI for under fifteen dollars CDN per month which is excellent. You can import many sources into it as well including Google Analytics, MailChimp and pretty much any database you want. Tableau and Qlikview are awesome as well and quite easy to use. While Chart.io has been my favorite so far in terms of extensibility though Microsoft comes very close. Though I do not see Google Analytics integration or Google integration of any kind at all available, though I am sure it can be done it does not appear to be natively integrated at present. Certainly ensure you are setting up everything thoroughly from the start by taking a methodical approach and you may save some hassles down the road with so much configuration possible it's nice to have great continuity in your reporting from day one but it may cost you the price of the best expert you can and several weeks depending on your situation obviously.

Overall, this is a comparable business intelligence solution that is also quite costly. It also has a low learning curve which is something to consider if you're bringing on yourself and others as well. The Microsoft Power BI does have a learning curve in terms of it's script language. There are a good amount of charts to utilize to help analyze your data from different perspectives. The ability to mash up data and view it in real time is outstanding with you it allows you to overlay additional data on top of the original to help you analyze such things as cost by demographic category for example or gender and age rather and use customized approach to suit your data.
