What was the best part about using PTC Windchill?
Once implemented, it is very stable and reliable.I like the ability to have multiple workspaces, each dedicated to an individual project. In addition, workspaces are easy to create, populate, and activate.The user interface is very smooth with a lot of configuration options available.It works well with CAD tools and integrates well with Creo.
What would you change about your experience with PTC Windchill?
It has a steep learning curve and it is very difficult to train someone with a minimal knowledge of it how to use it.Technical Support is not always fast to respond, it takes too much time for them to resolve even minor issues.The Query Builder could be improved to a higher standard.The searching can be frustrating sometimes, the page refreshes on its own.
