The ability to import and export data easily is another great thing about it which you can do in several different formats such as CSV, Excel and others, as well. There is a good amount of capability from your dashboard and it can allow a good level of detail in terms of drilling into your database. There is a good amount of documentation for MyPHPAdmin as well so it's possible to do a lot of learning on your own, or you can always dive into the community for help. You'll find open source folks are helpful and there's a ton of value elsewhere like Youtube and other forums where you can get expert advice freely. It's such as widely used platform there is no shortage of specialized experts available very affordable to help you get done more advanced manipulation, or automate ongoing tasks and maintenance.

Although if you have been a long time user of this software the user interface may feel very comfortable, personally I don't find it to be as great as it could possibly be. Having non-relevant options to choose from when completing certain tasks is confusing. You have to consult the documentation because there's no educational component to your software dashboard at all. Such as no clickable question marks with explanations, no tutorials embedded anywhere in the software itself so that's not as efficient or enjoyable as one would like ideally.

It's somewhat easy to take for granted in the sense we install our CMS or other software and it mostly runs in the background because you rarely run into issues using it. The reliability and the GUI are it's strengths even though it could an update in terms of design, in my opinion. But that's minor compared to the integral role it plays in our daily systems for years on end usually never having to use it because there's nothing to fix about it, besides the design.
