This is a learning management system I checked out on behalf of my teacher friend recently. It's a downloadable software with a diverse feature set and relative ease of use. You can create courses which work on multiple devices including desktop or laptop, tablet and smartphone and it presents the option to preview your course on each device ongoing. You can utilize inline variable replacement to control actions taken in the course using conditional relationships. There are page layouts which make it easier to utilize images, media and text blocks in a consistent structure throughout your course. You can enable custom progress bars to indicate how far along someone is in a course. You can use text buttons, shapes and images easily and manipulate them. Images can be cropped on the page and there are images effects as well such as gradients and textures or borders. You can create lists with several bullet and numbering types to choose from.

It's quite a large download at nearly seven hundred and fifty megabytes and it takes a few minutes to install. And I wish it was available in the cloud which could be done and make it that much more accessible, so you could pick up where you left off on a different device in another location, for example. I also think it's too much in terms of price but that's just my opinion. I would also like to see a gamificiation feature and perhaps story boarding as well.

This is a decent option for creating courses no doubt, and I will recommend my teacher friend take a look at it certainly for her class. Though I think the price will be her main drawback. She is highly organized and would appreciate being able to take the classes she's laid out in a binder and put them into digital form. However teachers aren't wealthy and though she is ahead of the curve wanting to go digital, her school isn't so it would be out of pocket. It's still worth knowing about at the very least to compare features with their competition.
