Infusionsoft

InfusionSoft is a massively powerful marketing platform where you can manage prospects, create and execute an entire sales funnel including email marketing and ecommerce. It's not an inexpensive software as a service to implement and a paid onboarding process is pre-requisite to using their system. Four paid plans range currently from $199 to $599 per month but considering the massive ROI possible, if you have a product or service you can bring to market quickly this would be an awesome platform to launch from if it all works as described. In the interest of transparency I've experienced their demo and completed thorough research into the company but haven't used it beyond this. I like you can tailor your choice of plan to include ecommerce features, or more advanced CRM features, or both. The fact they include ecommerce as part of their specialization differentiates this InfusionSoft from others offering similar software as a service. You can create an entire automated sequence of triggered events such as making a phone call or send an email using drag and drop technology. And it files new leads systematically as they occur. It's quite a visual dashboard and seemed quite easy to use.

I've read you must utilize the onboarding training sessions with a month of purchasing their software license. That is not as reasonable as it could be as there are usually challenges which occur as a start up which can easily take longer than this. And to not have access which you've paid for to expert help would be a serious source of frustration for some. I've also learned that according to some that it's incredibly complex to setup and is full of technical issues. This would depend a lot on the user obviously as well, because the amount of five star versus one star reviews was about three to one. Still much higher than a company would like as far as negative reviews goes, but you can't help wonder how much hassle the user is responsible for. There is a lot to learn regarding running a full blown sales and marketing campaign. Not to mention having to learn a software for each component of this. If there onboarding and training were known to be legendary it would be much easier to recommend InfusionSoft, but it's not. Though I can't honestly say for sure. I'm interested in the learning the best comprehensive marketing software in the market and so far the negative reviews would scare me away rather than justify the price for something which may or not be buggy, and or too complex for someone such as myself to learn and implement quickly, even though I am quite tech savvy and understand sales and marketing campaigns as an expert. There would be a massive learning curve to bring an entire team onboard to use InfusionSoft. They would benefit from an actual free account trial so those of us on the fence could have hands on experience with the possibility of facilitating a real sales funnel using their system. In order to measure the learning curve without any pressure from a sales rep in a longer period than just thirty minutes or an hour. I've also read the contact import feature works poorly so that's definitely a negative as I would be bringing my previous contact list into InfusionSoft. You can get a custom contact import but it is a paid service. And is it true that the emails when sent are not responsive? Hmmm interesting.

InfusionSoft is a very comprehensive suite and specializes in ecommerce which is not found in most similar comprehensive platforms but I can't honestly recommend it at it's current price, after reading so many negative reviews and without hands on experience. The demo was informative but I can't sit with the software without a free trial and creatively connect to each of it's options and test them in my own time to get a feel for the overall value for the money. It's not cheap and there's an onboarding fee of minimum $1500. So I'll be having a look around before settling on InfusionSoft.
