What was the best part about using IBM DB2?

IBM DB2 is a powerful entreprise-grade service to handle databases. DB2 can run on multiple platforms. It is easy to use and setup since it is delivered with an OS. IBM DB2 now supports native XML which is a quite good feature for many developers. IBM DB2 includes two processing engines , the first is for relational data and the other for XML.

What would you change about your experience with IBM DB2?

IBM DB2 has some room improvement regarding performance and bug tracking. Despite this , IBM DB2 runs quickly and it is able to handle a large amount of data seamlessly. It does not show any major issue or errors. IBM DB2 is able to store directly XML into the database and they have named the technology PureXML.

Overall Feedback

IBM delivers a quite good customer support and the staff is usually responsive and helpful. IBM DB2 has a lot of powerful technologies and features. DB2 is a true entreprise-grade database management tool. DB2 from IBM is one of the best relational database management software. I would recommend IBM DB2 for midsize and large entreprises.
