FUND E-Z

There are a lot of different features available and different viewing formats that make it more user friendly. You can select the order that different information is displayed, and control who can change and enter information. I really enjoyed the fact that multiple accounts can access charts and other information, as well as make changes, so that you can track and control who is doing what within your organization. This makes it easier for our large group, and eliminates some of the confusion that we had experienced with past programs.

This product is fairly expensive. Although it is very hands-on and does many functions that are essential to organizations, it costs a fair bit. This nearly led me to choose against purchasing this software. I also would like to see it change formats; it currently needs to be installed on every device you need to access it from, and there are times where I would like to check certain statistics or accounts but don’t always have access to my main computer. Additionally, although I have used many other programs in the past, it took me quite a while to learn how to use some of Fund E-Z’s functions when I first installed. I was helped through the initial setup but after that did most of the learning on my own.

I think that Fund E-Z still has a few different things that they should change in order to bring up my approval rating, but I am satisfied thus far with everything that I have used it for. I think with just a few advancements it could become my absolute favorite accounting software. That being said, at this point I would recommend it but be sure that you know what you expect from it. If you don’t need something so intricate and hands-on, I would save yourself the expense and go with something a bit simpler.
