Outstanding for its’ easily manageable platform, the biggest bonus to the tool is its’ great ease with searching the content – both with text and imagery content. Adding the extensive functionality with cataloging and embedding metadata out into a cataloged file gives deeper options while video management works like a charm and has proven to be a great asset to the system.

The main issue with Extensis Portfolio has been working with the paths to files. Somehow they can get broken and figuring out how to fix them is no easy task, giving you endless head aches. Also, the price is nowhere near of being affordable, especially when talking about some upgrades.

Extensis Portfolio has one of the best-developed search functionalities and filtering, but keep in mind there are sometimes bugs causing paths to broke thus giving you some hard time. However, on most cases the tool works just fine and gives you great flexibility with managing your content while having a collaborative, easy workflow.
