Dundas BI

Everything I like I found in Dundas BI. Things I appreciate in Dundas Bi would be flexibility, in Memory Cubes, open API, great visualizations, web-based etc. It responds very quickly and it's easy to work with! I configured easy. I find very helpful drag and drop functionality for external sheets. Dundas BI is also easy to build high quality dashboards with multiple visualizations. Very useful fact for me is interaction with Java and HTML. It proves me that Dundas BI is wide open to every customization.

When you grab a little under the surface, you will bump into problem with visualizations. There are some situations where visualization do something you don’t expect. For users without experience it can be very difficult to figure out without calling or emailing support. Because of its robustness it has a huge variety of features needs some time to research all the possibilities. In addition, there is a lack of detailed documentation for advanced features especially formulas. So, I think it need a lot of improvement.

Recommendation I would give is ability in reporting tool. Don’t waste your time and money on other solutions than this. Take trial version and make sure the solution have all requirements you need. From my experience there is a huge advance from version 1 to version 2.5. Solving business problems reflects in visualization bid data into one simple dashboard. That way you can save your time and nerves and have a picture of how your business functioning. What data you can make visual? I have tried visualization all kinds of data, including Financial Data, Logistics and Customer Satisfaction. In every sense, I respect Dundas BI as it is my personal assistant.
