Data Management for DB2 on zOS

We are authorized client of Catalog Manager, change chief, DASD supervisor, AppTune, Buffer pool and Opertune item and its has been very installed in our work society, forms, bunch, computerization, Production , improvement and so on and content with the instruments.. I am not master on these instruments but rather generally as a sysprog, couple of things do concern me.

I don't have dislikes. Measure of information - Our DB2 information gathering follow makes information which is no less than 5 times the span of our day by day execution information we gather for CICS and z/OS consolidated. Do we truly require those numerous follows.. Again I am no master and more often than not modify what comes at the base level

Despite everything we like to utilize IBM utilities for DB2 reorg and Image duplicate reinforcements as we feel that IBM utilities are better organized , recorded.. Couple of years back when we researched we found thet BMC picture duplicate can not connect reinforcements on Tape (MTL or DLM or VTS or ATL)..again I am depending on my turning gray memory.
