What was the best part about using ContactMonkey?

I've installed this email tracking browser based solution to test and compare it with their competition to learn the best for our projects. It integrates with both Gmail and Outlook and allows you to identify prospect in a variety of ways which are most engaged in order to help you to facilitate relationships and ultimating close more sales. It works in real time and show when, where and how many times an email is opened. Depending on which plan you choose you have the ability to BCC emails to your CRM and which subject line works best as well. The software is easy to learn and begin using quickly. I like the reporting it's clearly laid out and easy to understand.

What would you change about your experience with ContactMonkey?

Other email tracking I've used includes the ability to create email templates and send emails more efficiently which can be tracked for roughly the same pricing. I appreciate the warning it gives you to learn that if you have multiple Gmails open it will track all of them. The problem is that I almost always have my personal and business Gmail's open and I don't want tracking in my personal email. I believe it should be possible to differentiate the two as it's a tracking software. And this remains the issue which prevents me from moving forward with a paid plan currently. I would be more inclined to choose this email tracking if there were more CRM options available. I read that there are more in the development pipeline I believe which is great but it's only SalesForce for now which is not my customer relationship management tool of choice.

Overall Feedback

I appreciate the free plan they are currently offering it offered enough value to peak my interest and have me check it out. It's certainly the easiest email tracking I've used. And while Gmail is great on it's own, based on experience I believe it's best to send professional email as your own branded domain email, so in my opinion it's best to integrate Google Apps for business prior to utilizing tracking. And despite the lack of CRM integrations and email templates to help increase efficiency and productivity of lead generation this is a solid email tracking worth checking out for it's simplicity certainly.
