Clarizen is a project management software to help you stay organized and also helps to make your business processes more efficient. The real time projects status feature is one of the best and allows your team to stay on the same page regardless of everyone's location. The ability to keep track of billable tasks along with the budget tracking modules are also excellent make this a tool which can directly improve your bottom line. The analytic reporting available for management is good as well and helpful to get the big picture and specific channel stats as well. Clarizen is very collaborative in nature and makes it easy to share files and documents among team members. You can also assign privileges based on roles so your team stays focused and organized. It's very practical in the sense the task and project management are relatively advanced. The custom workflows you can create are advanced too, and while this takes an investment can make your systems much more efficient which allows your team to be more productive. There's an app store with quite a lot of integrations available for your account which is a great way to extend the use of Clarizen without having to have it all developed using their API so that's a huge time saver. I like that there's mobile apps for iOS and Android because I believe I'm making the switch in the near future but this has yet to be officially determined. To have this much functionality in your mobile device is nice because it allows your team to maintain a much more flexible schedule which can the best thing in certain situations. The project templates are very useful and save you a tremendous amount of time by getting your structure in place so you can basically just fill in the details. I also like the Gantt charts and the calendar functionality your able to use to make life easier. I've not had a reason to reach out to their support but by most accounts it's very good. There's an API available so if you're wanting to extend Clarizen into your own app or another third party it can be done quite easily, though only available in their premium and enterprise level plans. I like the roadmap which you can contribute ideas towards their product. It's public so that's valuable to the company and the end user which I like. This shows a commitment from the company as well that the user experience is their priority so that's awesome. This is a point not to be taken lightly in my opinion because it's not the norm during my research to this product roadmap made public and actively contributed to by end users and I like that a lot about this company.

There's a lot of configuration options in Clarizen and in that both a learning curve and then a time investment in order to determine and develop your most optimal workflows. With so much possible from a single dashboard it's important to set this up in a way that makes it the best it can possibly be and that simply takes a bit of time. Though the functionality is not particularly difficult to learn there's just a lot of it which is great in the long term because of how optimized your setup can become eventually.

Clarizen is very powerful in that it allows you to extend the common task and project management functionality into more of a sales tool because of the billing and budget tracking features. You can plan and organize multiple project in your portfolio from a centralized dashboard while utilizing full reporting and real time status updates so you're able to stay on track very easily even if your team is remote.
