Celoxis is a portfolio project management software which is very comprehensive in it's functionality. It goes beyond a project manager and it includes this feature along with task management, Gantt charting, expense and time management, financial management, risk management, sharing and collaboration, advanced scheduling, issue tracking, reporting and analytics and it's hosted in the cloud, or on your local premises so that's great. Price is $25 per user, per month hosted in the cloud which is reasonable because you have time tracking available to use which means you can measure your return on investment exactly through your billable hours per project. The customization of your account is one of the best features of Celoxis. You can create custom apps which are very helpful, adjust the modular components in your dashboard as well as create custom reports which you can use for your team or for clients. You have access to modular components which you can enable or disable in your account to suit your team and company easily. The user interface seems quite busy at first glance and it is but once you get your head around the basics of your account within a few minutes you're glad it's setup this way. Considering the complexity and complicated nature of this software in that it does so much it is actually setup very well. The software makes good use of the space on the page and everything seems to load nice and quickly. There are advanced workflows possible in Celoxis. This is going to take you some time to determined your optimal everything but it can become very efficient software to work with but it is going to become really great to use after some consistent use. I like that you can create macros which take care of several items at once. This feature by itself is a a huge time saver but once again is simply going to be a work in progress until you get all of the feedback over time it takes to refine your systems unless you have a clear plan going in which you can apply immediately. That would be the best case scenario.

With so much capability to customize nearly everything in your account you want there to be a clear plan going into your PPM or project management software to help you not only in your research to determine the best fit for your company, but to help you implement the system once you have the best in place for you company. I don't see much customization in your account regarding colors and color themes which is odd. I believe this would make it slightly more visually appealing overall, but also provide fundamental ways to differentiate several aspects of your reporting or account. I think this platform has the potential to become more of a customer lifecycle solution in that it could add a customer support module and inventory management in order to become a great IT cross-department 360 view type platform. And transactional invoicing or ecommerce capabilities perhaps and a service catalog in order to facilitate leads and better overall communication from sales and marketing, through development and support. But that's just my opinion.

This is a very complete project management software suited to large projects and multiple projects at a time. You have great workflows possible and your entire team can become very efficient with the addition of macros which you can setup. Though they have six in your account to help you out I believe. The customization is great all around with the exception of the odd lack of customized colors in carious regards from your account to the fields in your reporting. I believe this is a simple enough upgrade that would not only make the software more aesthetically pleasing and thus more enjoyable to work with, but allow for important differentiation between fields at times when it can help prevent mis-communication or help someone stay focused on the task at hand, rather than data getting sort of washed out against the same, plain background. But that's quite a minor thing. Overall, the return on investment of this project manager could be massive while you can track billable time and measure this and do so much more to make your life easier with everything available under on roof, so to speak.
