Our Mission and Values

CallTrackingMetrics was founded in 2011 when founders Laure and Todd Fisher realized that traditional businesses phone systems are often stifling growth and innovation. We set out to develop tools that harness the power of what is happening on the phone, making it easier for organizations to scale their growth and extract critical data from their conversations. We launched our initial call tracking software in 2012 and have since developed a robust set of telephony and reporting tools to support those organizations pursuing excellence.

What was the best part about using CallTrackingMetrics?

Call Tracking Metrics is a software as a service which track inbound and outbound phone calls for marketing and sales campaigns. Though it would be a useful service to utilize for polling or market research too. You are able to learn who is calling, how they found you, keywords which lead to calls, which landing pages lead to callers, CSR performance, patterns in caller location and timing as well as ROI. That's a great set of metrics by which you can measure and improve campaigns and ultimately sales. My first impression of Call Tracking Metrics was very good. The interface is practical and everything you need is available at a glance. It would take teams a minimum of time to learn how to implement this system for multiple users though it's not fully automated and requires some learning with attention to detail. The user interface is very simple to follow intuitively and it's easy to take action to setup campaigns. Call Tracking Metrics suite of reporting will tell you who called, how they found you, patterns in call timing, patterns in caller location, keywords leading to calls, landing pages leading to calls, how each of your CSR's are performing on calls, and even the ROI on your advertising costs for each of your campaigns. Pricing includes a free trial with no credit card necessary to explore an account and learn it's functionality. Paid plans start at $19 for the subscription plus additional costs required such as tracking numbers and text messages. Rates for these items is less for the $99 per month subscription which is the major difference in plans. I've had no reason to contact Call Tracking Metrics for support as of yet but in my research I read many times that is excellent which is a huge factor when considering any paid software services. I'm new but I also read that Call Tracking Metrics is continually developed and updated which is good. And they do have a great knowledge base that is well documented. There are some cool integrations possible like Wordpress, Google Adwords and Analytics, Hubspot and Marketo along with quite a few more. One of the best features available is the dynamic phone number functionality which changes it depending on the visitor and source of the call. Which allows for targeted tracking across multiple marketing campaign channels very easy. This would increase efficiency of integrated campaigns greatly, as well as offer cool split testing possibilities. You can track pay per click advertising, social media networks, organic search phone calls and more. It's easy to be accountable to clients using a software like Call Tracking Metrics. The trust built through this accountability is based on the transparency and measurement possible from the data it gathers. Which you can share and utilize in order to adapt and improve marketing results quickly.

What would you change about your experience with CallTrackingMetrics?

I use another system currently and it's more than seventy five percent less expensive per tracking number, per month. Rates differ according to country. I checked U.S. and Canada and they were the same, but didn't make it clear whether it's $4.50 per number in CAD or US currency. This should be clear even though it may seem it obvious they are individual prices. It's something that would effect my consideration of their service because if I'm wrong $4.50 US right now is actually about $6 CAD and that would add up with a lot of numbers. The user interface is not visual. It's clean and straightforward but uses form fields to create all of the options which is fine. It's still very easy but compared to CallRail the visual user friendliness is lacking. There could be a better overall account activity reporting in your main dashboard such as including total calls and greater agency account customization options by some accounts.

Overall Feedback

Call Tracking Metrics is a great call tracking software system. It's near the top of my list during this research into similar software in the market. I like CallRail the best so far it struck me as outstanding. Call Tracking Metrics is excellent and a great choice for optimal call tracking and reporting in any business. Highly recommended.
