You will have to be comfortable with using a command line interface if so, but if you're cool with that Bugzilla is a robust bug tracking solution you can have up and running in a matter of minutes. I like how easy it is to share feedback periodically making it quite collaborative and of course collective intelligence best powers the project. The interface while old school in it's design is relatively easy to work your way around and while easy enough to learn with some time so if you're still quite new then it's a good choice. And it's open source so it's free and that one of the greatest benefits. You can install it locally as well which is a great way to ensure top privacy and security if you need it. And you can integrate your email which is outstanding and is another way you stay connected to your team. Their are nice permission and role based settings available and you can delegate the most optimal access per individual which is great. I like you have a strong database component which is scalable and fast. The community is another reason to get on board. Mozilla of course is huge so the help available in their forum by friendly open source loving people; regular users and experts alike is plentiful and that's amazing. Open source and free in every sense of the word for humanity is significant symbol of our progress from a developmental psychological perspective. It's a very empowering concept which allows you to reach for your dreams in new ways. I remember first learning of open source when it was brand new and now I realize through experience more than ever how it truly opens up new possibilities and opportunities. Not to mention the relationships and community made widely available and accessible. Open source projects are really a good thing. Yet the beautiful thing is the level of sophistication in the software and collective intelligence which continuously refines it.

Bugzilla is a robust bug tracking software in the sense that the user interface has a learning curve if you're brand new to tracking. I believe the best documentation may be scattered around the community in forums and relevant threads. I've read about a desktop app called Deskzilla which is for Bugzilla can make you more productive by eliminating the micro delayed moments from occurring in the web interface which I've noted even today can be a minor thing with a larger impact over time in that these micro distractions take away from your flow which is the goal not hassle and frustration on any level. Even though a learning curve is to be expected minimizing this in every way possible would be nice because a great workflow in any environment is a beneficial thing so I'm going to check this out. It allows you to download your bugs from the web and you can utilize a database from your local server and speed things up.

But once you do it's got a powerful amount of configuration and customization options that will keep you busy. The interface is old school but if you can live with that all the power to you. Mozilla has an enormous community so you're never alone in terms of knowledge available. There are many other resources available as well off of the Mozilla site. Overall, you can't complain at the price while the features are incredibly robust there's not much to dislike at all if you're technically savvy enough to use it in the first place I recommend it.
