How to Organize CAD Drawings on the Go

For designers who are working with drawings everyday, one of the most troublesome things is organizing messy CAD drawings especially when going out. Although designers use electronic drawings to replace the paper ones, USB flash disk or mailbox can bring the electronic drawings, it is not only inconvenient, but also hard to manage drawings.

Since DWG FastView was available, things become much easier. When visiting the construction site, just one smart phone can store, view and edit all drawings from then on.

How to use smart phone to bring electronic drawings? Designers can use free cloud space to manage the project file then arrange the CAD drawings. The following are the specific operation methods.

1. Log in or register Cloud account and then click the New folder option to build a new folder. Enter the folder name.
2. Choose the Local option and click the Search under all the Files to find the drawing needed to be organized. Click the circle on the right side to enter the Folder information.

3. After entering the Folder information click the Upload option to upload the drawings to the folder built in the first step into My Cloud.

When the drawing is uploaded into the appropriate folder, it is easy to be managed and found. At the same time, user can use computer to view the drawing in the mobile phone.

In addition, user can also view the drawings in the computer by mobile phone. The specific methods are following.

First build a new folder in the computer and upload drawings into it. Then transfer the drawing into My Cloud. Finally user can view the drawings in the computer by mobile phone synchronously.

Besides user can synchronously view drawings in Web terminals, Android terminals, iOS terminals and PC terminals by My Cloud which makes user view drawings without the impact of the environment.
