In my humble opinion, this number is too high, but I know that it’s not far from the truth. On the bright side, with a mix of good ingredients and a dose of hard work, you can easily be a part of those 10 % of businesses that achieve success.

Think of the whole thing as if you were cooking a meal. If all the right ingredients aren’t in place, your food won’t taste as well as it should, and trust me, these recipes are very tasty. The same rules apply for setting up a business. Although there are different kinds of businesses out there, there are certain things that they all have in common. Here are the 10 most important ingredients your business recipe should have.

1.    Unique services and products

The first thing that you need to have is something you can offer to customers. Regardless of whether you plan on offering services or products, this is the most vital element of any business. The best and most natural way to go would be to offer something you know you can do better than anybody else, and something you’re passionate about and enjoy doing/producing.
