What was the best part about using BillQuick?

BillQuick is comprehensive suite of financial software tools available online and include budgeting, project management, billing and reports modular components in their software which is available as a monthly subscription starting at about fifteen dollars per month. Though you can try the software with their free trial and no credit card required. The next couple premium paid plans are both custom quotes you will receive once you make contact with their sales reps. I like that it's very mobile friendly so you and the entire team can easily access your account from any device as long as you have an internet connection whether it's a tablet or smartphone, laptop or hotel business center desktop. Though do ensure to clean the computer of your history and definitely do not save passwords or any sensitive information on such a device, of course. This is not ideal perhaps, but it's nice to have the option just in case. The ability to import and export data in the basic plan is good. I also like the support for multiple currencies and the dozen or so various contract types available in your account. The batch invoicing is sweet to have and though I haven't used this a lot in the past there are a couple of time when it would of been extremely convenient to have had at that time so it's nice to see here. It's great to have multiple main components available at a glance. Enabling seamless communication across departments is one the best ways to streamline business processes and greatly increase team efficiency and productivity. This software is very scalable in that it's hosted in the cloud so you're having to maintain hardware or update software that's all done for you. The reporting is very robust in that you have over five hundred legitimate reports available in your account which is outstanding. It may actually be too many, or seem like it at first simply because you must determine the most optimal workflows and this includes the reporting that will be most effective to relay changes in patterns and trends in order to optimize performance in many ways, all of which are connected to your bottom line. The automatic billing is awesome to have as well. This makes it easy to actually see revenue growth directly making this very much a sales tool in addition to the accounting, project management and analytics reporting platform so that's great. Actually the ability to void or reverse invoices in this software is a feature which stands out I haven't seen or noticed during my research into several other similar lifecycle based business software solutions.

What would you change about your experience with BillQuick?

I appreciate that there is a lot of features upgrades in the custom quote, enterprise level offers but it seems to me some of this should be included across all of the plans in order to be more inclusive in terms of pricing and offering your customers more value. This also shows that the user experience is the main priority and not just revenue by sales people in the company. It also empowers prospects to become more successful and naturally want to upgrade through corresponding business growth because they have been offered enough value to utilize upfront in order to remain loyal to the brand from the start. While I understand not all of these features could apply to the basic account but several easily could in my opinion.

Overall Feedback

Overall, I am pleasantly surprised with the versatility and flexibility of BillQuick. Enabling cross departmental cooperation can only help in every possible way. To have project management and budgeting, expense management along with invoicing and really incredible reporting all in one location is awesome. Small businesses may be best suited considering you have a lot of value across multiple departments available for fifteen dollars per month. And perhaps mid-size to enterprise class businesses would do well with it also a whole would depend on the competence of their team and quality of their support at the time. There are lot of options in the industry but I would definitely give BillQuick the opportunity to sell me on why we should fully implement their system over others when it is time for our start up to do so in the next year or two.
