What was the best part about using Athyron Corporation?
Highly attentive, customizable, service oriented company in business for decades with a highly mature food-service POS software and product support model. Incredible technology in the core product as well as external applications specific to web technologies, tablets, EMV (with tip adjustment – was told over and over again that tip adjustment was impossible with Chip Technology – but these people have this!!!) , SMS/MMS, and just about anything you could imagine. And, to top it off, they will customize, for a price.
What would you change about your experience with Athyron Corporation?
Their software ROCKS, but is of one flavor, all in the same version. Don’t understand why they do it that way. So, everything is included and a part of the same application. There is no way to segregate out the fast-food module, or the bar-module, or the retail module, or a number of other modules which all are installed and come down automatically during updates. Their update procedure is excellent and extremely polished providing status information, is web based, but always delivers the entire payload. Their update is extremely quick (rated in minutes, even with a substantial data load) relative to other products which may or may not complete the update once the data schemas start updating. You know who I am talking about.
Overall Feedback
Athyron is an excellent company standing behind an excellent POS product. In my opinion and experience their Aprego label, and I figured out they have other labels out there, like RestEZ, Symphony, and Fortis, and that’s what I found, all of these, I believe are labels of the same product, or different branded versions. Not sure how it all fits, but Athyron Corp is definitely the parent company behind all the products. My advice, take a serious look at their Aprego POS product – it’s put together in a very attractive way with a very easy to understand and extremely polished user interface and is packed with loads of features.
