What was the best part about using Adobe eSign services?
Adobe eSign is a digital signature software as a service which is one tool in the Adobe Document Cloud suite of document and file management products. It certainly saves time and energy by bringing together several steps into a singular, streamlined process. They provides a lot of integrations into existing business systems with no customization required including: Evernote, Box, Dropbox, Zoho, Netsuite, SalesForce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Sugar CRM, Office 365, Google Apps and more. It's hosted in the cloud, so documents are well secured and sending document files is simply done few a couple clicks. Once sent, the documents can be electronically signed by recipients via smartphones, computers and tablets. Document history is available in real time including access, tracking and management in your account from the same devices which is key. Workflows become more efficient while improving sales performance and creating quicker revenue cycles by not having to print, sign, scan and deliver paper documents. I like being able to create and send many kinds of documents securely to one or more people who can sign it easily. With all documents legally binding and admissible in courts of law. The quick search function is nice to see inside an digital signing software. The real rime alerts along the signature process is especially useful. Uploading documents is easy. The field population functionality is a huge time saver. I also like the tracking of documents available which helps to know if recipients are looking at documents sent, and how often they are doing so. Just a bit insider information to help keep priorities straight when closing multiple deals.
What would you change about your experience with Adobe eSign services?
The software itself is not the most intuitive on the market compared to similar services. Having to assign the recipient when using multiple signatures involves a bit of a learning curve. I've read a few instances when the support was not great, but I would give an established company like Adobe the benefit of the doubt when considering paying for their Adobe eSign subscription. And I am an Adobe subscriber but haven't had to utilize their support at all. Some companies have had difficulty creating a seamless workflow when countersigning is required. For example, if the document gets signed by the recipient and then sent back to the vendor for additional signatures. There would be a time curve when integrating Adobe eSign into a business with thousands of clients and contracts comes onboard but it would be worth it considering the savings and ROI possible from doing so beyong the initial setup.
Overall Feedback
Electronic signing services save paper, time and energy. Adobe knows what they're doing and Adobe eSign as part of a bigger suite of tools may be a great fit for your business. Pricing is a bit above average compared to other similar services. But overall it provides a huge benefit to companies who can utilize digital signatures to streamline contractual processes saving time, money and energy along the way.
